Laurens van Wieringen
Laurens (also Lorenzo) has a studio in product and interior design in Amsterdam, called of course: Studio Laurens and as he says himself, he designs Sneakers, Toys, Clothes and Haircuts. See a reference on him in an Italian design contest in Milano, or some nice pieces of art like a stunning one: a tapestry.

Cartoonist Wim van Wieringen (official name: Willem de Mooy van Wieringen) made his debut in 1947 for the left-radical magazine "De Vlam." Later he worked for "De Groene Amsterdammer" and became well-known for his newspaper comic "Simpelman" that he did for "Het Parool" from 1968 to 1962. On July 3rd 1999 cartoonist Wim van Wieringen died at the age of 83.
